Live Music in Northwest Arkansas
George's Majestic Lounge will host a Pre-Wakarusa Party on June 3rd. This event will feature Elephant Revival, Blue Mountain and Telepath. Local band, The Poggs, will perform live at the Squid and Whale on June 5th at 8 pm. This is the Poggs' first appearance in Eureka Springs. Local band, Benjamin Del Shreve, will perform live at Grub's in Fayetteville on June 6th. This show will begin at 9 pm.
Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival
Wakarusa (a legendary music festival) will be held June 4th through 7th at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark. This festival is expected to bring 10,000 to 20,000 visitors to Northwest Arkansas and is sure to be a great time for all who attend.

Downtown Bentonville First Friday
Every first Friday of the month, Downtown Bentonville pops with an amazing array lof live music and theatre, art, food and fun! First Friday will be held Friday, June 5th from 5 to 8 pm.
Special Olympics Golf Classic
The 2009 Special Olympics Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 5th at Shadow Valley Country Club. This event is a four person team scramble. Registration begins at 11 am, Shotgun Tee Off is 1 pm and lunch will be served from 12 to 1 pm. Entry fee is $75 per golfer and includes Green Fees, cart, event bag, lunch, chance on hole-in-one prize, closest to the pin, putting contest and refreshments on course.

Art of Wine Festival
The 9th Annual Art of Wine Festival is Walton Arts Center's biggest fundraising event. Proceeds from the event support Walton Arts Center's award-winning arts learning programs for schools and teachers.

Kids' Fishing Derby
The Winthrow Springs State Park will host its annual Kids' Fishing Derby on June 6th from 8:30 to 11 am. Kids ages 15 and under are invited to bring their fishing poles, chairs, blankets, snacks and sunscreen and spend the morning fishing in the stocked pond. Prizes will be awards for 2 age groups. This is a free event but registration is required.
